South Korean actor Ji Chang-wook is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to Korean entertainment news portal Soompi, the actor’s diagnosis was confirmed by his agency, Glorious Entertainment. The agency said he is in isolation and receiving treatment.

Ji was filming for the upcoming series The Sound of Magic, but production has since halted after the actor and another member of the team tested positive. Ji’s co-stars Hwang In-yeop and Choi Sung-eun both tested negative.

Ji is known for his roles in shows such as Empress Ki, Healer, The K2, Suspicious Partner, and Lovestruck in the City. He is one of the latest celebrities in South Korea to contract COVID-19 as the country experiences a surge in cases. 

Recently, K-pop artists Lee Min-hyuk of BtoB, and Doyoung and Junghwan of Treasure also tested positive for the virus. – Rappler.com
