Davao City

Davao City is a 1st-class highly-urbanized city in the Philippines. It is the regional center of the Davao Region, located in Mindanao.

As a highly-urbanized city, it is administratively independent from Davao del Sur.

Davao City has a population of 1,776,949 as of the 2020 Census. With a land area of 2,443.61 square kilometers, it is the largest city in the Philippines in terms of land area. It consists of 182 barangays.

In the 2022 elections, the city had 992,538 registered voters.
