[Editor’s note: VIVA Films’s Metro Manila Film Festival 2020 entry stars Andrew E., Janno Gibbs, Dennis Padilla, and Jerald Napoles along with Leo Martinez. Below is their press release.]

After their big-screen comeback last year, Andrew E, Janno Gibbs, and Dennis Padilla are back with more laughs this Christmas season with their new movie Pakboys Takusa.

The trio is back on screen, this time with comedian Jerald Napoles for their official Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Pakboys Takusa, produced by VIVA Films.

Pakboys Takusa is the story of 4 friends, photographer Justine (Janno Gibbs), dentist John (Andrew E.), stand-up comedian Bruno (Dennis Padilla), and tattoo artist Drake (Jerald Napoles), who hit on almost every woman they meet at work. They’re all “experts” when it comes to girls and even more so in hiding it from their wives. The four friends don’t stop their womanizing ways until karma gets them and their lives are put in danger because of it. Who else can save them but their loyal and loving wives?

Joining the gang are Angelu De Leon, Maui Taylor, Marissa Sanchez, and Ana Roces, who play their beautiful wives. The cast also includes veteran comedian Leo Martinez, who gives advice to the four boys about married life and their cheating.

In less than a week since it was uploaded, the Pakboys Takusa movie trailer has already reached more than 20 million views across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube), showcasing how many people are excited to watch the movie.

Catch Pakboys Takusa at the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival. Worldwide streaming starts on December 25, 2020 on upstream.ph. You can watch it for only P250. – Rappler.com
