Some customers aired their concerns over social media, as BPI said it would implement the following charges starting July 1:
BPI and their new policy ugh. Why is it that enrolling a biller is available online while enrolling a 3rd party isn't :( — PLDT not caring for 75 days (@spacekittylei) May 31, 2019
Which bank does not charge fees for online/app transactions? I think I’m gonna have say goodbye to BPI now. — Pia (@piawearsglasses) May 31, 2019
— Mark Bogz Oliveros (@OG_Bogz) May 31, 2019
BPI urged its customers to enroll their accounts online for faster and safer transactions. It is also free of charge.
