Cardi B confirms secret marriage to Offset

MANILA, Philippines – Offset may have proposed to Cardi B publicly in October 2017, but it turns out that the hip hop couple were married even before that.

After TMZ published their marriage certificate on their site, Cardi B took to Twitter to confirm the news – and throw shade at the “lil nosey f*cks*”

“This why I name my album ‘Invasion of privacy’ cause people will do the most to be nosey about your life,” she said in a Tuesday, June 26 tweet.

Attached to the tweet was a screenshot where she tells the story of how she and the Migos rapper got married in secret “one morning in September.”

“We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress, no make up, and no ring!” the “Bodak Yellow” artist wrote in the screenshot.

She explained that Offset publicly proposed afterwards because he still wanted her to have the experience.

“I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!” she added.

She ended by saying: “Well now since you lil nose f*cks know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock.”
