[IN PHOTOS] #PHVote 2016: Stars vote on election day


MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Celebrities headed to their respective precincts Monday, May 9 to vote for the next leaders of the country. Many took to social media to post selfies or pictures of their inked fingers, and encouraged citizens to go out and vote. 

Here are some of the celebrities who voted in this year's polls.

Daniel Padilla and Karla Estrada

Daniel Padilla, a first-time voter, cast his votes at Pasong Tamo, Quezon City with his mom, Karla Estrada.

Presidential candidate Grace Poe's mother and veteran actress, Susan Roces, voted at the precinct cluster in Xavier School, San Juan City with son-in-law Neil Llamanzares and grandson Brian Llamanzares.
