MANILA, Philippines – This season says goodbye to a long list of TV shows, favorites included! (READ: TV Guide to what's new, coming back, and ending)
It was recently announced that NBC has canceled long-time fan favorite Community after a 5-season run. The show created by Dan Harmon has struggled in the past with low ratings and casting conflicts. Original cast members Chevy Chase and Danny Glover exited the show long before the cancelation was made official, shooting down rumors for a sixth seasons and a movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of broadcast television’s longest running comedies, Two and a Half Men, will air its twelfth and final season this year. Although an exact episode count has not yet been released by CBS network, fans can expect the Chuck Lorre-created show to end with a bang.
The final season will focus on a season-long event. “[Chuck]’s got some great ideas and very big surprises,” CBS’ Nina Tassler revealed in a network event held in New York last week.

ABC network axed a handful of its shows, among them Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson’s comedy Super Fun Night and Once Upon A Time spinoff that centered on the adventures of Alice, Once Upon A Time in Wonderland.
The X Factor from FOX network also failed to make the cut. Featuring Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato as judges and Mario Lopez as host, the reality show failed to make a big enough splash with US audiences.
Fans of The CW’s The Carrie Diaries, a prequel to the much-loved story of Carrie Bradshaw and her struggles with love and heartbreak in Sex in the City, may also be saddened by news of its cancelation. After successfully fighting off cancellation rumors at the end of season 1, the show was unable to do the same after season 2 failed to bring up the ratings.
Among those ending soon as well are the Amy Poehler comedy Parks and Recreation, and Glee, the teenage musical dramedy by Ryan Murphy.
