'She-Ra' gets reboot, to be shown in Netflix

MANILA, Philippines – Another beloved cartoon from the '80s is getting a makeover, as Dreamworks Animation Television releases She-Ra and the Princess of Power on Netflix this June.

In an EW report, actress Sandra Oh, known for her role in Grey's Anatomy, heads the cast as the voice of Castaspella, a sorceress helping She-Ra fight against the enemies led by Hordak, while Aimee Carrero voices Adora/She-Ra.

Karen Fukuhara, who appeared on the movie Suicide Squad, will voice Glimmer.

The first She-Ra cartoon debut back in 1985. In the storyline, Adora is Prince Adam (He-Man)'s twin sister, who wad kidnapped by the Horde and brought to Etheria. She later discovers he true identity, and with the help of the Sword of Protection given to her by the Sorceress of Grayskull, she transforms into She-Ra, Princess of Power.
