This free workshop teaches leadership skills for the ‘new normal’
The event will be live on Facebook on August 20, 6 pm

“Change is consistent, and often challenging – but all the more difficult to manage when you and the whole world are going through a global crisis,” said corporate leadership trainer Boris Joaquin.

“But it’s how we react to change that makes all the difference. Change can bring you from the old to the new: from depressed to determined, from sidelined to significant, from barely surviving to thriving.”

On Thursday, August 20, 6 pm, live on Salt and Light Ventures Facebook page, Joaquin will be holding a free webinar entitled “Breakthrough Leadership Online.” He will be joined by international leadership speaker and author Dr Richard Blackaby.

Joaquin will highlight key principles from the “Breakthrough Leadership Suite” – a program that has been used by various organizations to navigate change and challenging business environments. Dr Blackaby will share leadership habits that are required from leaders so they can:

  • Create clarity by defining vision and direction that builds motivation and commitment
  • Navigate challenges by recognizing realities while being guided by values.
  • Encourage performance by providing people with the guidance and support they need to succeed.

“People look up to their leaders for direction, especially in times of change. Leaders set the motion for an organization,” said Joaquin.

He explained that, in a time of challenge, leaders – especially those junior and with less tenure in their organizations – gain the skills to lead effectively, set clear goals in line with their organization’s vision, to executing these plans effectively through effective coaching and mentoring.
