MANILA, Philippines - For 6 Saturdays -- from February 11 to March 17 -- the world's best in pyrotechnics lit the Manila sky with brilliant bursts of vivid colors at the 3rd Philippine International PyroMusical Competition at the SM Mall of Asia.
This annual event of choreographed pyrotechnics is considered as one of the largest and most intense international fireworks competitions in the world.
The grand pyromusical festival this year featured magnificent entries from Australia, Canada, China, Finland, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, and United Kingdom. It was wrapped up with the entry of Italy and a special exhibition from host country Philippines.
Netherlands placed 3rd while Australia and Finland tied at 2nd place. Canada was named the grand winner. - Rappler.com
