LOOK: This ‘sippy face mask’ lets you drink while on-the-go
Now you can drink your milk tea on-the-go, without having to lift your face mask

Those who need to consume beverages while on-the-go may no longer need to lift up their face masks to sip from their drinks anymore – thanks to “sippy face masks.”

Local milk tea brand GallonTea’s face masks are available to the public starting August 14 until August 18. All customers need to do is buy GallonTea products worth at least P1,000 (they’ve got gallons of milk tea, sinkers, fruit teas, and dimsum on their menu).

The black, minimalist sippy face mask is made of 3-ply microfiber fabric with a silicone button embedded in it, which is where your drinking straw goes in as you sip (even large tapioca pearls can fit). There is also a bendable nose strip inside, which you can adjust to fit your face.

The face masks, which have a pocket filter inside as well, are reusable, so all you have to do is wash them after use.

It goes without saying, however, that face masks should ideally be covering your face and nose at all times while you use them – something would-be users should have in mind if they plan on actually using the mask in public.

The sippy face masks are available only via delivery orders through GallonTea’s own delivery system, as well as via Foodpanda or Lalafood. Their Makati hub can cater to all Metro Manila areas.

Deliveries are done daily from 11 am to 6 pm. You can place your orders via GallonTea’s Facebook page. – Rappler.com
