After launching their unconventional milk tea boba donuts, local bakery Bobba Donuts MNL has come up with another interesting flavor: Ube and Parmigiano Bobba Donuts.

Bobba’s soft, dense donuts are topped with a homemade ube halaya glaze that’s sweet and light, with crumbs of savory parmigiano cheese, which add a nice salty kick to the sweet treat.

The donut is then generously filled with Bobba’s signature custard cream, now purple and flavored with real ube, alongside an explosion of their homemade chewy tapioca pearls.
