IN PHOTOS: Anne Curtis opens first blk Cosmetics store

MANILA, Philippines – Anne Curtis’ makeup brand blk Cosmetics may only be a few months old, but it already launched its first store – which Anne calls the “blk boutique” – at TriNoma mall in Quezon City. (WATCH: Here's a look at Anne Curtis' blk cosmetics line)

Anne attended the store opening on March 24, and was met by hordes of screaming fans, who later on had the opportunity to try blk products at the booth.

The pink-and-black blk booth in the middle of a hallway on the first floor of the mall is “cinema-inspired,” according to blk Cosmetics CEO Jacque Gutierrez. Customers can try on makeup in front of mirrors that look like they were taken out of a movie star’s dressing room, while the checkout counter is made to look like a ticket booth at a movie house.

The store is a first for the brand, though it has counters at SM department stores and Watson’s. Blk products are also available online through Zalora, Lazada, and BeautyMNL.
