Erwin Tulfo declared persona non grata by PMA alumni

MANILA, Philippines – As far as alumni of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) are concerned, newsreader and commentator Erwin Tulfo is persona non grata.

The Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association Incorporated (PMAAAI) made the declaration in a resolution signed on Friday, June 7, and released to media on Monday, June 10.

This comes after Tulfo blasted former Philippine Army chief and now Social Welfare Secretary Rolando Bautista, an alumnus of the PMA, for not granting him an interview.

The PMAAAI said it "strongly condemns the boorish behavior and derogatory remarks" of Tulfo against Bautista and uniformed personnel.

According to the resolution, the declaration covers the following:

Signing the resolution were PMAAAI chairman Rufo de Veyra, president Colonel Arthur Bisnar, and corporate secretary Brigadier General Connor Canlas.
