LIVE BLOG: #YolandaPH

MANILA, Philippines - Typhoon Yolanda (international codename Haiyan) weakened further overnight as it moves away from the country Saturday, November 9. It is still on track to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

With the help of citizens, Rappler is tracking the situation to inform and alert readers. Government agencies have warned of heavy damage to affected communities, and we'd like to provide you timely information from key areas nationwide.

This live blog will be updated with the latest information, data, photos, videos about the typhoon, the communities affected by it, and the various sectors and agencies responding to it.

Help report critical information such as flooding, road or building damage, or those who need rescue or assistance using the Project Agos disaster information map. Rappler's MovePH team will monitor the map and alert authorities.
