Reported deaths from Luzon quake rise to 6; 4 missing
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said the number of reported deaths from the July 27 earthquake rose to 6.
Based on NDRRMC’s Situational Report No. 3 released on Friday, July 29, five of the deaths – all from the Cordillera Administrative Region – have been confirmed, while the agency is still validating another reported fatality in Ilocos Region.
Four other people in CAR are missing, while the number of injuries stands at 136.

At least 887 aftershocks recorded
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said 887 aftershocks have been recorded as of Thursday, July 28, 4 pm.
