Lamitan City is a 6th-class component city in the Philippines. It is the provincial capital of Basilan in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, located in Mindanao.

Lamitan City has a population of 100,150 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 354.45 square kilometers. It consists of 45 barangays.

In the 2022 elections, the city had 50,134 registered voters.
