General Santos City

General Santos City, formerly known as Dadiangas, is a 1st-class highly-urbanized city in the Philippines. It is part of South Cotabato in Soccsksargen, located in Mindanao.

As a highly-urbanized city, it is administratively independent from South Cotabato.

General Santos City has a population of 697,315 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 492.86 square kilometers. It consists of 26 barangays.

In the 2022 elections, the city had 360,232 registered voters.
