MANILA, Philippines – The Smart Gilas Cadets barely broke a sweat against overmatched Indonesia, opening their 2015 SEABA campaign with a 92-36 victory at the OCBC Arena in Singapore on Monday, April 27.
Gilas dominated the first quarter, establishing a 26-7 lead and then opened the second period with a 10-0 run that essentially sealed the game.
Kiefer Ravena played an all-around game with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals, while Bobby Ray Parks went 4-of-4 from the field and finished with 15 points to go with 6 boards.
Almond Vosotros also played well, finishing with 11 points - 8 in the first quarter.
Jiovani Jalalon recorded 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Big man Troy Rosario pitched in 7 points in the win.
Philippines will be back in action on Tuesday, April 28, when they go up against Laos.
