UST saga continues as Tigers allegedly left sick, fed poorly
Former UST stalwart CJ Cansino leaks Facebook messages detailing the Tigers’ poor condition in the Sorsogon ‘bubble’

As if the drama surrounding the UST Growling Tigers already didn’t have enough episodes, former team captain CJ Cansino just added another log to the fire.

Apparently forced to spill more details on Twitter by some netizens, the newly minted UP Fighting Maroon leaked Facebook messages with incriminating details on the conditions of their alleged “bubble” in Capuy, Sorsogon.

In a chat group apparently created by Cansino, multiple team members seem to have revealed to parents their poor condition of living under head coach Aldin Ayo’s alleged bubble. (FAST FACTS: A rundown on the CJ Cansino-UST-UP saga)

Multiple team members including key cogs like Brent Paraiso and Ira Bataller complained to parents of “oily” and “tasteless” food allegedly prepared by the mother of Ayo’s wife Mina.

Mutiple players also referenced being sick and even allegedly abandoned altogether.

Even reigning MVP Soulemane Chabi Yo seemingly has had enough, citing homesickness, boredom, and poor cellphone signal.

Cansino, though, deleted his tweets around two hours after posting.

The team and Ayo are already in deep enough trouble as it is, as they are currently being investigated by multiple agencies, including the UAAP, the Department of Health, the Philippine Sports Commission, and the Games and Amusements Board.

The team is set to hand over their internal findings to the UAAP this Wednesday, August 26.

Ayo has gone on record to say he has no further comment due to the ongoing inquiry and has pledged full cooperation to the agencies involved.
