Final Fantasy XV release date: September 30

MANILA, Philippines – Square Enix announced the release date for its long-awaited latest installment in the Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy XV.

Final Fantasy XV is slated for release on September 30. An upcoming free demo called Platinum Demo Final Fantasy XV – which lets users step into the shoes of young Noctis – will be available today on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Justice Monsters Five, a mobile game meant for Android, iOS, and Windows, will also be available for download before the launch of the game.

Meanwhile, Square Enix is also pushing a multimedia initiative, with a 5-part animated series called Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, as well as a CG-animated full-length film called Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV set for release before September 30.

The first episode of Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV is available now on the Final Fantasy XV YouTube channel.
