Globe offers new data-only plans for mobile postpaid subscribers.

The data-only plans, under the company’s rebranded “GPlan” postpaid subscriptions, will feature twice the data allocation compared to plans that have text and calls included.

A monthly P1,499 data-only plan, for example, will have 40GB of usable data while a similarly priced plan with unlimited calls and texts to all networks will have 20GB of usable data. The data-only plans appeal to users who communicate on chat and call apps more than traditional texting and calling.

Globe also launched a promo called GPlans with GCash that gives subscribers money on GCash. A P1,499 monthly plan, for instance, gives subscribers P13,600 on GCash, along with a 10GB monthly data allocation. The promo runs until June 30, 2021.

Another promo called GBs for Points will also run until June 30, which allows subscribers to convert their unused data to Globe Rewards points. The conversion is 1 rewards point per 1GB for mobile prepaid users; 10 rewards points per 10GB for postpaid users; and 3 rewards points per 3GB for home prepaid WiFi users. – Rappler.com
